The Warrior movie

"Have you fought before?" What would you answer to that question? Some people might say "Never, I rather stay out of it." or "Yes, once, but I don't wanna talk about it." And some people might say "I fight only when I have no other choice." or "I always fight when someone pisses me off."

What do you picture in these answers? Do you see people fighting with fists? at home? in a bar? on the streets? with guns? at a war? Do you see people screaming and cursing? Do you see people fighting for their life? for a meal and a water? for their loved ones? for their property? for their rights? for a freedom? for a dignity?

Let me ask you again: Have you fought before?

Some people say that life is a game or that life is a hunt and some people might say that life is a fight. And I think it's a little bit of everything. Because we play all the time and we fight all time and sometimes, there is this need for a hunt. But these things don't need to include violence and sometimes we fight without even knowing it.

People fight for a companionship or for a solitude. We either try to gain more friends or to get more privacy. This kind of split people into two halves. And the worst thing about it is that the other half is always trying to pull us into their fights. Not to fight for them but to fight with them. They think that if we don't fight for what they fight for, we won't be happy. But maybe, we should try to fight for both of those things. Because to fight only for a companionship is the same loss as to fight only for a solitude.

Everybody fights for what they believe in and for what is important for them. But, is this always true? Do we really fight for ourselves and for our loved ones? Or are we just in fights that others pull us into? Even before we're born, we fight for our life. Our ever first fight is crucial. We'll either be the fastest and the first or we'll die with millions of others. And if we win, the game is on.

Sometimes, we lose our will to fight. We give up and wait for better times. It seems like we're guided by "Live today, fight tomorrow". And when the tomorrow comes we still wait for tomorrow. But there's always something to fight for.

So, I have a last question for you. Will you fight... ?
